MONTFORT STUDENTS ATTEND LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE ON THE MEDIA
Five Montfort students led by teacher Nicholas Pagano attended the Archdiocesan High School’s 3rd Annual Student Leadership Conference taking place on March 8th at the Sheen Center for Thought and Culture in Manhattan.
They joined over 300 students from other NY Catholic high schools to discuss this year’s critical topic: The Media Landscape: A Catholic Lens. They were challenged to examine reconciling the current media of incivility and “fake news” with our calling as Catholics to seek truth and compassion. It was a great day for our budding journalists.
