BOYS SOCCER TIES MASTERS 1-1

The Boy's soccer team traveled to the Masters School on Friday afternoon. The game ended in a tie with the score 1 - 1. The Montfort goal was scored on a free kick by Rodrigo Araujo. Rodrigo bent the shot into the upper right corner of the goal. The Knights defense, led by Co-Captains Ben Connelly and Ricky Greco and first time Goalie A. J. Crea held Masters scoreless for the entire 1st half and for 32 minutes of the 2nd half. A. J. had an outstanding game, making numerous saves on several difficult shots. Other players who played well were sophomore Ronan Lehane, senior Gonzalo Cuesta and freshman Phelim Clery.  We expect a great season out of this team of enormous talent!
