MONTFORT SPEECH AND DEBATE SHINES AT REGIS/LOYOLA TOURNAMENT

Once again Montfort’s remarkable Speech and Debate Team placed in the top 10 at the celebrated Regis/Loyola Tournament today. With only 4 competitors, we placed 9th out of 16 schools.

Thomas Curro, having placed 1st in all three of his preliminary rounds, finished 6th overall for Varsity Extemporaneous Speaking, earning his second half-qualification for states. NYSFL state tournament here we come!

August Boland received an honorable mention for Varsity Oral Interpretation while teammates Jayna Randolph and Alyssa DiPaolo gave strong performances as well.
