CAREERS IN MARINE BIOLOGY

Members of the Marine Biology Club welcomed Dr. Jessica Gilpin to Montfort yesterday to discuss her work in Marine Biology and offer suggestions to students on possible careers paths in the field of Marine Biology. It was a fantastic presentation and discussion which followed. Students learned about research (on cleaner shrimp!), educational degree paths, public and private career options, travel, grant writing, and so much more. Thank you to Dr. Gilpin for sharing your time and insights and thank you to Mr. Will Haffey for coordinating her visit to Montfort.
