MONTFORT SPEECH GOES TO STATES

Four members of the Montfort Speech Team (Amanda Muscente, August Boland, Kaitlyn Cucolo, and Thomas Curro) qualified for, and competed in, the NYSFL Championship at Hofstra University on April 6th. The competition was fierce, fielding teams from all across NY State. While none of the Montfort competitors "broke through" to finals, it was a fun day for all at the beautiful Hofstra campus, and a nice end to a very successful season for the Montfort team. Two Montfort students (Thomas Curro and Makayla Josiah) also qualified to compete at the Catholic Nationals in Milwaukee in May.
